I went to American Girl and finally met Valerie Tripp and she came in and I swear the woman standing next to me said, "she looks like Kit." She did same pale blond hair (although it might be gray)same length and style pulled back with a barrette. I wonder if that was just coincidence. Many people where there so I wasn't able to talk with her for as much as I would have liked. But she was really a exstreamly sweet loving and understanding woman and so cheerful and friendly as well. I wasn't too surprised at the mulitude of people waiting. There seemed to be older girls there with American Girl books I didn't see many for the HCH books surpisingly but then of course I did not see every book she signed and they are new.
